It means that each participant is self pre-qualified; everyone who attends RiseFit is asked to give 100%, in effort, attention, mutual support and participation.  Each person is asked to commit to give their best and follow RiseFit rules.  Many attendees express that RiseFit program is one of the most challenging and empowering experiences of their lives.  Yes it’s normal to get butterflies in the belly before taking the class. Class Descriptions

The goal of a workout shouldn’t be to hurt.  We are not saying that workouts won’t push you or that you won’t ever hurt during a workout or you won’t ever be sore the next day.

We are saying that hurt isn’t the goal. Just because you feel exhausted or your muscles are burning doesn’t mean it was a great workout. A great workout targets specific muscles, specific actions, specific and personal goals.  Hence, need of individualization:  That is what we at RiseFit strive to provide in every class.

 

You will improve your stamina, strength, muscle tone, metabolism to burn fat, flexibility, balance.

 

Performance Training Class 

A total body workout blending: cardio, strength training, agility, balance, yoga, calisthenics, plyometrics, medicine ball, stability ball, ladder drills, JC bands, TRX, and more. This is a class for those who love to work hard, challenges themselves, looking to improve. This is the most efficient, total body training.

 

Power Half Hour

Major studies have shown that 30 minutes of exercise can be just as effective at burning fat and even more efficient than 60 minutes of exercise.  These fast-paced workouts are jam packed with dynamic, hi-intensity moves designed for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Every minute counts!  There are no breaks, and we encourage everyone to warm up before the class.  Bring Nothing but your personal BEST!

 

Kickboxing

Thai kickboxing style, you will learn to punch, kick, elbow and knee in this fun, intense, high cardio workout system. In addition to learning training techniques, you will work your core and increase your explosive power. Classes are taken barefoot. Boxing gloves are available to borrow for class, you can purchase your own from us.

 

No Limits Workout

This is a mental and physical toughness training program designed with many different workout challenges, that will push you past your maximum potential.  Class focuses on muscle endurance, obstacle courses, working together in a team setting, at the same time having fun. Some fitness goals will be set higher then you expected.  If you are looking to go beyond your limits in a fitness setting, then this is the class for you. Your contribution is whatever you can give.  Having no limitation as limitation mindset, means you don’t limit yourself.  Never quit!

Old school lifting class, go heavy, go slow, grunt and go all out.  Building strength.

 

Low Impact Training

Gentle on the joints training, still targeting on the entire body. Perfect for beginners building up to the Performance Training Class.

Ready – Able – Willing – Eager

Ready - A person has to be ready to choose to be fit and lean, to take action on their desires and dreams.  Ready to let go of excuses and embrace growth mindset.  Believing that you can improve, change, that problems are not there to stop or slow us down, rather to teach us a lesson we need to learn, to test our desire.
Able - Recognize that you have the ability to be fit and lean – you can work harder and eat better, you can change your beliefs about food – if you tell me i want to lose weight and i ask you what you eat and you say – oh i have a good diet, i eat well.   If you have fat you want to lose, you have a diet that you can improve-  eat better and fat will vanish, fat is not the problem, what you put into your mouth and are in denial about it is the problem.  Look at it as a journey of discovering what works for you.
Willing – You must be willing to do whatever it takes, this attitude is super important.  Most people are just willing to do bare minimum and expect maximum results, they are not happy about it but for the sake of their goals they feel they are able to sacrifice whatever they have to to achieve their goal, and if their why is strong enough they can do it.  But this doesn’t last long, you can only feel you are sacrificing for so long.  They need continual accountability, motivation, and so you must take a leap of faith to the next level.
Eager- People can’t wait to do it, they don’t see it as sacrifice,  they are happy to do do whatever it takes, they are into it in every way, this is my way of life, this is who i am attitude and core beliefs.
