Sugary drinks have been proven to be a major contributor to causing serious health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, obesity and tooth decay. One researcher has made an infographic that shows what happens to our body within an hour of drinking a can of Coca-Cola.
There is approximately 10 teaspoons of sugar in one can of Coke, well over the daily recommended limit of 6 teaspoons The World Health Organization recommends. This means that drinking one can of Coke (and other sugary beverages) daily could take us well above the guidelines and wreak havoc on our health.
