A study released earlier this year concluded that the amount of hours someone sits in a day- regardless of regular exercise- is associated with a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer and even death.

Low and light intensity activities can extend the life span of those who are sedentary for more than half of their waking hours.

Here's Rob's Top Tips For Staying Active at Work

- Get up every 30 minutes and take 20 steps

- Go get water every so often

- Walk while talking on the phone

- Do 5 push ups, 10 squats, or use your imagination and have fun with it.  It will be a great break for your brain and body
