Do you want to feel driven to go outside your comfort zone? Do you want to feel more excited as you go, and as it's getting harder to keep going you feel more energized? If you do, here is how.
When you have a goal and you count your reps you will work harder to reach it. I think a great example of this is when we jump over the hurdles. Learning the progressions and striving to reach our higher numbers. It took me about 2 years to go from 30 to 60 reps in 30 seconds. Just like every other journey there were ups and downs and setbacks. But I was determined to discover how far I can take it. When I did 30, I asked what if I could do 35. I had no idea that I would get to 60, at that point 35 seemed like a stretch. As I reached my goals I kept asking myself what if I could do 5 more. Counting the reps fighting the time, and fighting the exhaustion became an exciting game.
I strongly encourage everyone to have 3 or 5 exercises that they want to ask themselves, what if? Then just go for it!
